How do I place an order?

Shoot me a message through my contact form and I will get back to you within 48 hours. Alternatively, you can email me directly on laura@forkyeahbaking.com.au  or give me a call on 0409197478 if it is urgent. 

How much notice do you need for an order?

I take orders on a first come first served basis and I have limited spots available each week. It is always a good idea to secure your booking sooner rather than later, so you aren’t disappointed, 2- 3 weeks is ideal. If I can squeeze you in, I will, but there are no guarantees.

Do you offer tastings?

I offer cake tastings in the form of cupcake boxes. You can order a mix of cupcake flavours, fillings and icings upon request, charged at $85 per dozen. 

How much experience do you have?

I have been baking since I was a teenager, and I have been in business with FYB since 2018. I am a fully insured business and also operate out of a council approved kitchen.

Where can I find your pricing?

You can find my pricing list over on my pricing page. Please note that each cake is a custom design with its own unique needs in terms of labour and materials, so these prices are starting prices only and to get an accurate quote you will need to contact me. 

Which size cake do I need?

I have a guide of how many serves each size has on my pricing page. This guide is for dessert sized serves so if you are after coffee serves, just get in touch.

What is the difference between coffee size and dessert size when looking at cake portions?

The best way to answer this is thinking about how your cake will be served.  A dessert portion is 2.5cm x 5cm and is usually served as the only dessert at your wedding. A coffee portion is 2.5cm x 2.5cm and is usually served canae style after your guests have enjoyed their dessert, or alongside other dessert canapes.

Do I pick up or do you deliver?

All Cake and Cupcake orders can be picked up from New Gisborne, VIC, but I do offer delivery within the Macedon Ranges, Daylesford, Bendigo and Melbourne. Just contact me for a delivery quote.

Do you make your cakes from scratch?

YES! I make all my cakes, cookies, cupcakes and macarons from scratch! I also make all of my fillings from scratch including my curds, caramel sauce, coulis. I pride myself on using fresh and quality ingredients for all of my orders. 

Do you offer Gluten free/ Allergy friendly / Vegan products?

I do offer GF/AF/Vegan products; however, I do need to point out that because I am a home-based kitchen with only one oven and one mixer, I cannot 100% guarantee no traces of gluten. I do my absolute best to ensure everything is clean and there is no cross contamination.

Can You post my order?

If you are ordering cookies or a hamper – Sure! I use Australia post for all of my orders. Unfortunately once your order is shipping FYB is not responsible for any damages. 

Do you offer other desserts?

I DO! I can do slices, brownies, biscuits, fudge, toffee, donuts and lots more! Just message me with what you are looking for and I can let you know if I am able to supply it for you.

How do I care for my order after pick up?

Cake – Your cake is best transported cold, straight out of the fridge. 

It is best to place it on a flat surface in a footwell or the boot of your car. 

Always lift your cake from the bottom of the box to ensure the sides do not become damaged. 

Store your cake in a fridge, bringing it to room temperature 3-4 hours before serving. 

Cupcakes – Place your cupcakes in the fridge for storage. I suggest bringing your cupcakes to room temp for 2-3 hours before serving to ensure optimal taste and texture. 

Cookies – All of my cookies are heat sealed in food grade bags. This means they will stay fresh for 6-8 weeks. I suggest to keep them at room temperature and out of direct sunlight.
